The World of Belly Dance - presented by Bellymuse and Discordia on Saturday, September 25 at The Warehouse Theater in downtown, Greenville. This is like nothing you have ever experienced before in the Upstate! The show will feature Belly Dancers from across the East Coast with varying styles from Traditional to Electronic to Tribal, with live music and much more.

Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 8 pm with vending and after party. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

"About Face for Summer," By Cheryl P. Allen, The Greenville News, May 14, 2009

"Nicole Martin, owner of Raspberry Moon Skin Therapy on Laurens Road, said metallics – silver, bronze and gold – continue to be popular."They can be used all over the eye, as an eyeliner or as an accent," Martin said. "There is no hard rule that you have to use the same color. Mix it up a little."

Sheer and sassy
For the lips, sheer with a pop of color provides just the right touch, Martin said. Candy-colored glazes – with the sheen of a gloss and the longevity of lipstick – are perfect. "They are very hydrating to the lips and they have a really pretty sheer color that's great for the summer," Martin said.

Foundations and blushes should have a light feel with a bit of shimmer. "Sheer blushes are great for the summer," Martin said. Hues can range from playful peaches and roses to elegant shades of plum. "They'll add a little hint of color to the cheeks but not a heavy (look) like you would wear in the winter."
